Psychedelic Curious offerings at the Denver Zen Den

Psychedelic curiosity, met carefully.

Some people want to explore psychedelic-like states without taking psychedelics. Some want to prepare carefully before working with medicine elsewhere. Some are integrating an experience that's still echoing in the body. We hold all three.

Our technology, stroboscopic light, vibroacoustic sound, VR, frequency work, produces many of the same shifts in perception, breath, and emotional state that medicine work does, without the medicine. For some that's the whole experience. For others it's the container around medicine work happening elsewhere.

There are many people who are treading their psychedelic curiosity carefully, balancing curiosity with a healthy respect for the potential risks and unknowns. We meet that carefulness as it is. Talk to us if you're unsure where you fit.

The door doesn't have to be chemical to be real.

Each session is customized to the client. This is the outline.

Where you might fit.

Less ideal if: you're looking for medicine itself, we don't provide or guide psychedelics. We hold the room before and after.

Honesty about where you are in the journey

Before you book.

Do you provide medicine?

No. We are a sober, technology-supported space. We do not provide, source, or guide any psychedelic medicine. We hold preparation and integration around journeys you do elsewhere, ceremonial settings, ketamine clinics, legal retreats, and we offer technology-only sessions for people who want the perceptual shifts without the medicine.

What are the benefits?

Improved preparation for medicine journeys, deeper integration of past experiences, reduced anxiety around altered states, access to psychedelic-like states without substances, and the general nervous-system regulation benefits the technology produces (better sleep, reduced stress, improved creativity, faster recovery).

How do I prepare?

Set an intention through light journaling. Avoid heavy meals 60 to 90 minutes prior. Arrive hydrated and reasonably well-rested.

How safe is this?

Generally problem-free. Consult a healthcare provider before booking if you have photosensitive epilepsy, glaucoma, recent eye surgery, a pacemaker, deep vein thrombosis, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy. If you are on MAOIs/SSRIs or have a history of psychosis, please disclose so we can scope appropriately.
